A Blueprint to Remember...

An Example of My Blueprint for a "home-made" version of
the Contemporary Disney Animation Desk with Retrofitted LIGHT FOOT
Plexiglass Animation Disc w/ ACME Pegbar from Cartoon Colour
A Blueprint to Remember that I gave my Uncle Mike a B&W copy of this blueprint of a Disney animation desk (according to the drawing on the left).

Cartoon Colour is famous for their own Cel-Vinyl colors & ArtTools equipment ever since 1947 and Canada-based Chromacolour was established in 1975, for 28 years after Cartoon Colour opened its doors in 1947, made their own Cel Paint and matching Triacetate Cels that look similar to Cel-Vinyl colors & Acetate Cels from Cartoon Colour!
Besides Animation Cels, I, however, use Toon Boom computer paint (Animate 2 software) on my PC unless I Will buy an iMac computer in the future.    I Actually starred in my own Disney Channel mini-short, "The Time I... Realized My Brother was Different", back in Mid-August 2009 before it premiered on November 2009

My Reponse to Cartoon Color Company Inc.

This Screenshot from "The Making of The Pebble and The Penguin"
shows a whole lot of Cel Paint from Canada-based ChromaColor
Cartoon Color, based in Culver City, California, makes and sells Cel-Vinyl paint, which animators paint onto clear plastic sheets (cels) to give their drawings color. They've been around since 1947. I'll bet that back in the day they sold Cel-Vinyl paint by the tankful to all the Southern California animation studios. Imagine a bright yellow truck that looked like a UPS selivery truck, except instead of UPS-labeled packages, the Cartoon Colour truck delivered giant bottles of brightly colored, chalky-smelling Cel-Vinyl colors to MGM Animation, Warner Bros. Animation, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Terrytoons, UPA, Walter Lantz, Hanna-Barbera and Don Bluth. It made everyone who saw it happy to be alive.

Today, the river of rainbow-colored goop has attenuated to a trickle, thanks to computers taking over most of the steps of animation production. Thankfully, I live during a time that Cartoon Colour still exists and I'm able to dip my brush into the dwindling rivulet.

Cartoon Colour Cel-Vinyl, with the pleasing consistency of pancake-batter, is the best canvas and board paint I've ever come across. It's cheap, too. An 8-ounce plastic squeeze bottle costs about $12. Most of the colors are opaque and mix well, so you don't end up with hot, muddy colors. It goes on smooth, and you have a few seconds to wipe it off if you make a mistake. If you let it dry, you can smooth out the ripples and bad spots with fine sandpaper.

I Started Buying Cel-Vinyl colors in Squat Jars & Plastic Squeeze Bottles ever since Christmas 2008 with the help of my mother, Jackie Igafo-Te'o!  And Right Now I Have almost over 61 Cel-Vinyl Colors!! XD

One Day, Cartoon Color will be joining forces with Canada-based ChromaColor International in order have Cartoon Color sell its rights to ChromaColor and they'll keep their Californian Plant while ChromaColor makes their own paint (and Triacetate Cels)!! :)
